SOS was started by 4 moms. Parents who didn’t know one another in our lives before. We were strangers who came together when we began going to school board meetings and realized the extent of the risk our public schools were facing. We knew that we were not alone in our concerns and that the loud minority was yelling louder than the quiet majority. It was then that we understood it was our duty to come together and fight for public education.

High quality public education without discrimination is a human right, and one we all need to protect and defend.
